Documental en el que se entrevista a varios estudiantes y un académico, inquiriendo las particularidades del albur. La cámara muestra el recorrido en metro y en microbús hacia la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana-Iztapalapa; también algunas vistas de dicho plantel. Un académico y algunos estudiantes dan su definición de albur y ponen algunos ejemplos, ahondan en las diferencias entre albur y doble sentido, explican y ejemplifican los diferentes tipos de albures y sus reglas. El académico reflexiona sobre el albur como proceso comunicativo, tras lo cual sus estudiantes dan el ejemplo lingüístico-fisiológico de un albur (el "lavado de cazuela"). Consideraciones generales sobre el albur, seguidas de un ejemplo acabado.
